Using the Digi Staff levelling staff makes it much easier to take measurements. Simply place the device in the correct position, extend the segments to the required width and take measurements. The measurement results appear immediately on the display. When working with a rotating laser, Digi Staff can automatically calculate the height deviations in relation to the reference points and indicate how long the lowering or superelevation must be. The levelling staff has an automatic switch-off function to save battery power. The device switches off automatically five minutes after the last measurement. The levelling staff is controlled by six buttons, each of which is responsible for a specific function. The Zero button (commonly referred to as the "zero button") is used to determine the new zero points. The Hold function is useful for determining the measurement results. The calculated values can be saved. Thanks to this function, you can take measurements in hard-to-reach places or on uneven surfaces if it is necessary to change the length of the telescopic elements. The Digi Staff levelling staff has an optimal set of metric system values. Using the Unit function, you can select inches, feet, fractions, fractions of tens and centimetres for taking measurements. The Digi Staff staff has a base pillar with a height of 10 cm, which stiffens it. The spirit level can be used to check the horizontal alignment of the device, ensuring maximum precision. The control panel is made of wear-resistant silicone. Unlike the film panel, the silicone panel will not peel off or crack from the cold, even with frequent use.
